Chapter 3 - Fernando Wants to Go Home
"Roger, how do I get back home to the farm?" Fernando asked.
Roger sat back and thought for a minute. "If you came from the same kind of farm I did, you can't go back, Fernando."
"Why not?"
"Farms like that raise plants to bring to these places. I've talked to lots of plants like you and me, and none of us have ever been taken back home."
"Well," said Fernando, "we'll just see about that. I'll figure out a way to go home. It's too cold here."
Roger shook his leaves and said, "You'll get used to it, Fernando. We all do over time."
Fernando didn't say anymore to Roger about it, but he vowed to himself to find a way.
